There is in YOGA this ultimate state position called Samadhi where you practically become detached of any form of matter in order to reach the Nirvana state, of total inner peace. That is why it's apparently empty. In fact, after a long process of cutting the ties with the material aspect of life and all the wordly knowledge, you, transparent like a crystal and reflecting the true knowledge, become one with the creation. :)
