Let's take a peak into my work. I know it's extremely discouraging looking at a line and not knowing what to make of it, but it's actually about the obvious, the natural, the simple truth of our existance: the line is the path of our lives that, no matter how intricate, it always, or better said, we always return to the universal harmony of the beginning, the oval shape representing the Egg, the perpetual Re-birth, the continuity of life in whatever form. I generally represent the biological matter in black while the spirit of life in gold-yellow meaning the Light of the Creation that animates it all. If you want some more visual support observe how the baby-leaves of a fern grow up and then look at my work as seen from above. It's all about getting away from one's Self, turning into matter and getting back to one's Self. And remember, what really counts is the feeling you have while looking at an art form as art is just another way of sharing human emotions. :)
